1. Overview & Scope

This website is operated by Vincica Miniatures Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). Throughout the site, the terms "Vincica Miniatures", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Vincica Miniatures Ltd. By visiting our store at vincicaminiatures.com and/or purchasing physical goods from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service", "Terms"), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein or available by hyperlink.

These Terms apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content. Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our website.

2. Business Model & Produced-to-Order Manufacturing

All physical miniatures, regimental boxed sets, skirmish detachments, and expansion packs offered by Vincica Miniatures Ltd are manufactured to order using industrial multi-jet full-colour resin 3D printing technology.

  • We do not maintain stockpiles of pre-printed inventory.
  • Production commences immediately upon successful payment confirmation.
  • Typical manufacturing lead times range from 5 to 10 business days prior to dispatch, depending on order volume and unit scale.

3. Order Acceptance & Contract Formation

  • Order Placement: When you place an order via our Shopify storefront, you will receive an automated Order Confirmation email. This acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute legal acceptance.
  • Contract Formation: A binding legal contract between Vincica Miniatures Ltd and the customer is formed only when your physical items are dispatched and a Shipping Confirmation email containing tracking information is issued.
  • Order Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product availability issues, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, or unauthorized commercial resale attempts.

4. Pricing & Payment Terms

  • Currency: All prices listed on vincicaminiatures.com are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP - £) unless dynamically converted by your browser’s currency selector.
  • Non-VAT Registered Status: Vincica Miniatures Ltd is currently not registered for UK Value Added Tax (VAT). All store prices are final, and no UK VAT is charged or added at checkout.
  • Payment Methods: Payment must be made in full at checkout. We accept major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Payment processing is securely handled via Shopify Payments and encrypted third-party gateways.
  • Price Changes: Prices for our products are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue any product or service offering.

5. Shipping, Delivery & Support Removal

  • Manufacturing & Finishing: Before shipping, all printed miniatures undergo a specialized water-soluble support removal process in our UK workspace, ensuring figures arrive fully cleaned, UV cured, and free from external support cages.
  • Dispatch & Tracked Shipping: Orders are securely packaged in protective presentation boxes or mailer boxes and dispatched from the UK using tracked postal services (e.g., Royal Mail, DPD, or international courier partners).
  • International Customs & Tariffs: For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped internationally may be subject to local import taxes, customs duties, and handling fees levied by the destination country upon arrival. Vincica Miniatures Ltd is not responsible for international customs duties, local tariffs, or local import taxes.

6. Returns, Cancellations & Consumer Rights

This policy complies strictly with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

  • Made-to-Order Exception (Statutory Cancellation): Under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the statutory 14-day "cooling-off" period and right to cancel without reason does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized. Because all Vincica Miniatures products are printed to order in the customer's specified scale (e.g., 1/72 or 28mm) and unit configuration, orders cannot be cancelled once active 3D print manufacturing has commenced.
  • Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Goods: Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods supplied must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
    • If your miniatures arrive damaged, broken in transit, or suffer from a manufacturing defect, notify us within 14 days of delivery at contact@vincicaminiatures.com with photographic evidence.
    • Upon verification, Vincica Miniatures Ltd will promptly provide a free replacement of the defective items or issue a full refund to your original payment method.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Vincica Miniatures Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, our products or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price paid for that specific order.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
